Andrew asked me to follow my heart and so we ended up at this place after i took a quick glance of the menu on the wall outside. This place is located on the opposite side of the popular river street with Hyatt Regency in the middle.
we were warmly welcomed by the lady by the front desk. She was very kind and put us by the window booth. I had the steamed snowcrab dinner, which comes in with 2 halves of a snow crab (4 legs each) and two sides. The seasoning is spicy so be careful if you don't like spicy. I tried Savannah okra, as suggested on many brochure. iThey were blends with tomatoes in a spicy stew, it was very special, worth a try. I'm hnot good at tasting spicy food as my palette is pretty sensitive to strong flavor.
tAndrew opted for low country boil, following his heart. Turns out to be anither popular edish one shouldn't miss in Savannah. It looks pretty, with shrimp, sausage and corn.
If you love the pure taste of seafood, come to this place and ask for steamed snowcrab without any dressing (or out it on the side). You'll love it. -

I ordered a glass of champagne that was warm. The oysters we ordered were warm too and not properly separated from the shell. The crab bites very spicy hot.
Not a great culinary experience
Service was decent. -

Stopped at Fiddlers cuz they had Gator bites and I've never tried them. Did I like them? Eh, don't really have an opinion one way or other. I had them fried, and think they would have been better with a little less batter/breading on them. The dipping sauce they came with was tasty, with a touch of spiciest. I also ordered the shrimp and corn chowder. Mmmm! I enjoyed that so much, I also took another bowl of it home with me.
My waitress, Becca, was great! No complaints there!
I sat upstairs, inside, near the door that goes outside to the balcony. My only issue was the non-stop slamming of that door as the waitstaff went in and out. Not conducive to a relaxing meal! -

This is a tough rating because part of my meal was great and the other part pretty horrible. I had the Chefs Choice Oysters. They were very good. I eat oysters quite often and these were good. I guess it's hard to ruin oysters except if they are not fresh, these were. I then had a crab cake sandwich. The crab cake itself was ok but the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoe was not fresh. I know it's hot this time of year but this tomatoe looked like it was from a couple days ago. The lettuce was the same. The bun was just as soggy and shrivelled. Very disappointing. Bloody Mary claims to be the best in town, I disagree. Too much old bay. The service was good. Server was very attentive. In the end, too many other places to try before I would even consider going back.

Fun location, right on the river walk with 2nd floor seating. They just re-did their menu so just be aware of that if you have been here before. We were sat quickly and received our drinks quickly. For those that are interested, They use paper straws! We ordered the gator bites and sea food platter to start. Both arrived quickly and were good. As a party of seven, we all ordered something different. I can say everyone enjoyed their food, from fried chicken to burger to crab legs to crab cake...our friend from the Philippines said the sea food tasted fresh so that is saying a lot. Overall it was a good experience. Check it out!
